OIRO £8000, FOR SALE. H reg 1991 Volvo FL6 17t Milage approx 244,000km/151,487 miles only. Coachbuilt horsebox from new, which we’ve had for six years now. In this time it has had... track rod ends and steering linkages replaced, power steering pump and box and exhaust replaced all by Volvo and MOT’d and Serviced mainly by Volvo commercial- all receipts and history available. Plated until August 2019. Currently has towbar with shocklink- we ideally need the shock link but can be negotiated! 12 and 24v on towbar. It has a custom fitted 11 x 11 approx side stable by Ian Bertram which takes 10 mins max to put up and is solid. Viewing window to horse area once side stable up. Galvanised frame, would easily split for a pair. Ramp overhaul last year with new base and rubber. Height in horse area- 7ft. 6in. / 230cm. Side stable to tack lockers 6ft. / 180cm wide Box side to box side :- 8ft. / 240 cm in back two partitions Length of horse area :- 18ft / 500 cm. Entrance hall :- 2ft 4in / 70cm wide Living :- 9ft. 2in / 280cm long Side stabling comes in 8in. Internal and reversing camera system. Extensive lockers, harness racks and removable saddle rack for four saddles. External horse shower. Living- has blown air heating, hot & cold water, microwave, fridge on gas or batteries, double hob, sink, Luton sleeps 2-3, double bed below. Integral storage but recently added a new wardrobe. 2 leisure batteries, extending aerial for TV lots of room and lots of storage. Separate hallway. Bathroom- Thetford loo, sink, shower with hot & cold water Back- 17’’ approx. space for many options- Large quad, full size carriage, horse pair/ Large quad, smaller carriage, three ponie/ Carriage and team/ Two carriages, pair/ Lots of ponies! 5 partitions. Rug cages above horses. No expense spared on the necessities, but the cosmetics could do with a tidy. Watertight, well loved, must go as we are downsizing to a 7.5t automatic following my accident.
