Hi Alan. Because of some software updates on both the server and the website, the date function became temporarily unreliable and was removed to prevent confusion until the updates were complete. Apologies for the disappearance of the date from some browsers. As a matter of interest, the date only relates to when the front page has been updated. This is because frequently we do updates to other parts of the website, which may be very minor and include general housekeeping operations, even sometimes deletions of obsolete material. These may happen several times per day and do not change the date shown on the front page. As a general rule, any new items go on the front page - usually at the top - and then work their way down as other new items come in, eventually dropping off the bottom and going into the archive sections. This means that, looking at the top of the front page, the latest additions should always be most prominent. Kind regards, Vic Website admin |

What a pity there is no date on the website front page to show when it was last updated. This makes it so much easier for a regular visitor to see if any new stuff has appeared. |
