Well I rang Sid, what a nice guy,and got some honest advice. It's great to talk to some one who is not just out to make a buck (everyone in driving seems so nice - I wish I'd got into this sport years ago!)I think we have come to the conclusion that despite the fact that she will work through this episode she is just too green for us novice owners and I will be looking for a new home for her. Then I need to look for a schoolmaster and get lots of training |

My pony and I had an unforunate mishap recently, ending up with pony very scared. I have gone back to basics and long reined etc but I put her to again tonight and she is very worried as soon as I ask her to walk forward with me walking at her head. She felt ready to explode. I am a self confessed novice and need help but am not sure if there is someone in my area who could either come to us or I could send her to. We live in the spalding/wisbech area. Please help, I don't want to mess this pony up! |
