11 Year Old Welsh Section D, Chestnut, flaxen mane and tail with 4 white socks Pony has competed in the last two combined pony World Championships as part of a pair, achieving second place in the marathon phase in Lipica. Was also one half of the pair that went double clear at the cones in Saumur CAIO-B. Lovely natural head carriage and drives on the ring (snaffle position) in an army reversible bit. A forward going pony that will suit a competitive driver who will continue to give him the attention that he needs to excel. Alfie has been driven in all positions in a pair, tandem and team, although he does find multiple work more stressful as he prefers to do all the work himself. This is an opportunity to buy a very hard-to-find three phase pony, ideal for someone looking to start winning some bigger events. Although has not done much competitively in singles classes (as we drive pair), Alfie has been ridden a lot and in his first Novice dressage test achieved 64%. He has also been ridden in Working Hunter and Showing classes and although behaved himself, was considered a bit too “athletic” for their tastes! £4950 ono James Broome james@xxxcricklands.com (remove the xxx) |
