Victorian side saddle, c. 1890, totally refurbished by master saddler Robert Jenkins in 2003 and used no more than half a dozen times since. A very hard to find wide/extra wide fitting. Comes with safety iron, three-fold leather girth, balance strap and carry/storage bag. £1,100 ovno. http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e96/bertie157/SideSaddle.jpg This saddle is currently with Scottish Side Saddles who can be contacted on 01560 484916 if you wish to view the saddle. Antique side saddle safety stirrup (dated 1912), suitable with the above saddle for costume side saddle classes. £35. Beautiful deep red material, plus patterns to make costume side saddle outfit from the 1890s (to match the saddle for costume classes) - patterns include jacket, full skirt and corset. Cost £225, will accept £180. Side saddle cane (brown). 1m length (adult sized) with nickle top. £30. Would consider exchange of side saddle for a used single horse (to take around a 16hh) three phase vehicle. Need not be neat or tidy, but as long as mechanically sound.
