This is fantastic news, it will be great to go back to such a testing venue, a truly worthy replacement for Lowether. Well done and may thanks to the team who must have worked very hard to secure this event - Judy

Holker is a fantastic venue. Well done for organising this. Many will also remember it when used as the replacement venue after Princess Diana died and Windsor National Championships were rearranged.

Congratulations and thank you to the organisers for all their hard work in securing this venue, and a big thank you to Lord and Lady Cavendish for allowing us to use it.

Fantastic news about Holker Hall - well done you guys and another big thank you for the hard work you have put in looking for another venue.
We went to Holker for the Northern Inter-Clubs a few years ago and it is a lovely venue with good facilities.
Horse & Hound take note!!

I have just seen on the Calendar that Holker Hall has been added to the national list in August, effectively replacing Lowther. I just wanted to thank and acknowledge the efforts of the people from BHDTA who have no doubt had to put a great deal of effort into securing this event in the North West. As an adopted Cumbrian living just 2 miles from Lowther (just my luck that the first year I actually could drive there after attending on foot for so many years it has gone!!)it was particularly sad to see the Country Fair and driving trials lost from the local economy, let alone the loss of the event from our driving calendar which left such a big geographical gap in the north. So it is brilliant to see Holker resurrected and look forward to seeing everyone in Cumbria in August.
So whoever from BHDTA deserves the credit - thank you.
