Rare opportunity- Proven junior international and senior national pony for sale. 13.3hh (140cm FEI height) welshX type 15YO gelding. Pip has been a fantastic pony for all of the family, having competed with three of us and taking both me and my Dad to our first outdoors events. He helped me move up the grades from my first pre-novice, through both the indoor and outdoor novice championships, up to becoming the 2012 reserve open pony national BC champion. Alongside this he has had an active young drivers career being individually placed in Austria in 2008, individually placed in Channel Cup 2009 and on the Winning England team. In 2010 he was the reserve pony for the JWT team and was picked up by a young driver just a few drives before competing, where again he placed (4th/22). In addition to all this he is a good riding pony, qualifying for the trailblazer national championship at elementary on 67% and placing’s at SJ, showing, and ODEs. All this said he has never been over competed; I have always been very careful to give him breaks after events and had two ponies running so he has plenty left to give. Over the last few years has been on loan to both young and seniors novice drivers. He is well schooled , obtaining dressage scores in the 40s outdoors and 20s indoors with three correct, relaxed but forward going paces and reliable correct extension from the voice. He has numerous cones double clears and enjoys marathon without getting silly or strong. He is equally happy in a pair though he has not been used for this recently. In the prime of his life, 100% sound (used for a number of veterinary biomechanics dissertations due to long metronomic paces!), never sick or sorry, good to shoe, clip, in side stabling etc. Lives in or out, keeps himself at a good weight without needing hard feed or getting fat. Loads of pictures, links to results, videos, dressage sheets etc. available. https://www.facebook.com/harriet.bradford/media_set?set=a.10152095130845648.9089 42.529720647&type=3 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CIdt55ahz2I&list=UU_31CsH8Z9Yg_EsRTjr8FLw Very sadly available due to lack of time. £5000 ONO including rugs, riding tack and driving bridle.
