Gillian's away up in Northumberland guys, and I hope she won't mind me adding that she came to see my Superdad on Sunday gone, and he's gone through the basics of maintenance with her- he has a mechanical brain and a daughter with a tendency to bounce carriages so is well versed in fixing mine ;) |

Hello, Gillian, I can personally recommend Dan Twitchen, in Suffolk. If he's too far away, why not speak to your local club secretary or BDS Area Commissioner (even if you aren't a member) I am sure you will get help. Bennington Carriages used to run one-day carriage maintenance classes and the details are on their website. May I suggest you call Bennington to ask their advice? They are very helpful! If you need to get your carriage to them, post here or ask among your driving friends to see if anyone else in your area wants their carriage serviced so you could share the cost of transport, if that's practical? |

The Bennington website has some downloadable "How to" guides for carriage maintenance. |

We do business in Germany and are selling all kinds of equipment for drivers including harnesses, carriages and spare parts. We also sell equipment for dressage, jumping and western riders and have started our onlineshop this year in may. Our shop address is www.kutschenbude.de. Since we just started our shop recently the range of offers is yet small, but very nice and we are working on it every day. Maybe you want to have a short look and check out our shop. Please feel free to contact us at any time and we promise to get back to you asap. |

I would welcome some info on maintaining my Bennington B4. I am sure I am meant to oil this and grease that from time to time but not sure exactly what? I'm not very technical so simple advice would be welcome please. I can't take it to Bennington as too far away. |
