Whereabouts in Essex are you? There are plenty of drivers around, competition (outdoors and indoors), pleasure, showing and commercial, but its true, they are a secretive breed - there are at least three living within five miles of me who compete, but I had no idea until I started attending EACDG events and Wix indoor competitions. | ||

I would have loved to come to elveden this weekend but unfortunately I had a foot op last week and it's not in a cast yet so I am pretty much house bound at the moment :0( would have been great used to work at elveden riding centre when I lived in Norfolk When would the next event be I am itching to come and say hi Lorna Ingram thank you so much that would be great. Oops that will teach me to read the post properly. Essex. Well I suppose it depends exactly where in Essex. If you are near Stansted I would point you towards Ashfields. There is a fine affiliated driving club in East Anglia with members and activities all over. I'm sure Fiona will point you in the right direction | ||

Hi all I am really wanting to get into the (seemingly secretive lol) world of driving. I have many years ago worked on a driving yard and caught the bug then. I have had many horses over the years but never owned a driving horse and would love to come and help or pay somebody in return for some tuition before I embark on my venture to buy my own set up I don't seem to be able to find anybody in essex And have never seen anybody out driving I would be very grateful for any info or advice anybody could give x |
