When the results where posted online, they were listed as unofficial. Has anyone got any video of the event, esp. the marathon?? Hoping to find some of the Aussies drivers, Elizabeth Lawrence and Lorraine Cairns. | ||

I'm definitely getting old. It seems to me the only way to check the published scores is to have a calculator and an imagination. First you have to convert total minutes to seconds and divide by 5. Then subtract this figure from the published penalties awarded. If there is a figure remaining perform the same arithmetic for each of the 8 columns to see where the decrepancy (ies) lie. consult the rules book as to which combination of misdemeanours could have caused this. The old fashioned diagonal line across the corner of the hazard penalties was very transparent and seeing a 2 10 or 60 there gave a very instant explanation of how the hazard went. | ||

Yes, but Lin, some our EACDG competitors are sooo lightning fast! Some (very kind and helpful) people think I am blind as a bat already: what I wanted was the marathon start times - and I might have maintained a vestige of credibility at 9:16 am - ha! (We publish dressage and marathon timetables and obstacle diagrams, marathon maps and the cones course on this forum for all our EACDG club events so everyone can see them before the event and know when to get there to see their friends go round or to send them texts or phone - and it's just nice to know these things.) It's great having live national results! I'd love to see the cones course, anyone? Thank you all for your kind concern and help! | ||
