In the last thread Jill Holah referred to "more mature" lorry drivers, well there are many considerably more mature than young Jill who act as stewards on dressage and cones arenas. We are plied with copious amounts of tea and coffee, which is always very welcome, but it does have a detrimental effect on our aging disposal systems! These systems are frequently boosted by little white pills that make visits to the loo rather urgent. It is often a long cross eyed and cross legged walk to the nearest loo. PLEASE organisers make sure that a loo is near to the arena entrances. No need to be on A but 50 to 100 yards away would be great! Geoff Kay |
