Denise - please come and meet us on 17 or 18 September at Ashfields. We are running our club championships and we welcome anyone and everyone to come and watch - it's totally free to do so. Please come and say hello! We post the times here on the forum under Announcements. Fiona |

oh fairly close to Ashfields, it is a lovely place. If you do indoors you may come to Wix Near Colchester / Clacton and there is a chap called Mike Daniel that does training there sometimes. He is super, gives you confidence and is very knowledgable and nice. It is sometimes good to have lessons with different people as they all teach you something different! As to getting someone else to compete your pony for a bit of experience, could be a good idea but watch them compete first to make sure they drive in a way you would be happy with your chap being driven. (Just my opinion!!). Good luck, |

Denise, I would also recommend Ben and Wilf, Ashfields have excellent facilities in which you can try pretty much anything with your pony indoors or out! Ben can travel to you or can teach from Ashfields. Hope this helps! |

Denise, if you are in Essex, Ashfields Driving Centre is near Great Dunmow and Ben Grose and Wilf Bowman-Ripley are based there. Ben - 07732 435528 Wilf - 07802 899004 Both highly recommended and very good for horse driving trials training, indoors and out. |

Hi Denise, I would suggest that depending where you are based, you should get in contact with Minta Winn. She is only based in Mill Hill (N london). She is a very experianced driver and teacher, and also producer of animals - she also specialises in novice drivers and ponies, and bringing on youngsters. Her contact number is 07771 900 100, I suggest you give her a ring and see if she can help you! |

Help. I have a section A stallion whos been broken to drive for about 9 months Ive been told by other drivers that he is very good but Im not a very confident driver and need to get some lessons for me and him so we can work well together. I live in Essex does anyone no of anyone. Maybe I should give him to someone else to drive competatively for a season as i feel im not doing him justice. any opinions gratefully recieved |
