Hello, I've posted this in the general section, but thought this may be a good spot too! I drive AMHR minis. (up to 38" at the last mane hair) I've joined the BHDTA forum to ask a fairly simple question of Driving Trial drivers in the Uk. It may sound a bit strange, but here goes. I know that in the course of normal driving over there, a single horse put to a 2 wheeled vehicle will use a sliding backband and open tugs on the saddle. I am also aware that this holds true for most types of competitions. However, in the sport of Driving Trials (called CDE in the USA) where it can get a bit extreme, do those who compete with 2 wheeled vehicles also use a sliding backband with open tugs or a fixed one and why? I appreciate your help with this question! Kind Regards, Debra in sunny warm Texas, USA www.suncountryminis.homestead.com |
