Horsebox - Ford Iveco Tector. 2001 - JG51DAD. Side Ramp - stalled for three horses facing backwards (takes 3 Welsh Cobs abreast easily). Will sleep 4 in 3 separate areas. Living with Hot water, propane gas heater. Shower and toilet, Sinks, 4 ring hob and oven - Propane. Diesel cab heater runs hot air into living in shower and main living. Tail lift - Currently there are bifold doors inside the up and over roller shutter at the back which allows the tail lift to be used as a raised seating/dining area when away. Pull out double bed. And space for separated single camp bed. Cameras cover rear high up and low down enabling easy reversing with a trailer and to keep an eye on that plus a good view of traffic behind. Separate camera and screen for horses. Two Side storage lockers. Tow Bar. Taps for hot and cold water outside hose for horse washing, large water tank. Mains hook up and lighting as well as LED lighting throughout and along the sides for night time horse facility. New Tachometer 2 years ago but is exemt unlesss driven with a large trailer. Room forv a carriage in front of horses.
Plated until end of March 2024. Well inside the emissions limits. Drives beautifully, not noisy and economical with large diesel tank giving an excellent range on a fill at a reasonably priced garage.
Bargain for the right person. I had a problem before Christmas which proved to be the isolator. This has been replaced and the lorry runs very well and is economical. However it has recently on occasions refused to start - just dead. Then later on it will then start happily without any problem. Has always started on the button! It appears to be a loose wire contact somewhere but I could not find it. I had anyway planned to downsize to a 7.5 tonne as I now have two small section A ponies and no horses. I bought a smaller truck recently before the starting problem had been resolved and now I need to shift the lorry as kept under sufferance in a livery yard with my new truck and cannot stay there long. The loose connection has proved to be a wire to the small solenoid (there are two) on the starter motor which has now been tightened. It was stasrti, when reactant if Starter motor was hot wired or subsequently noticed given as hard knock.
I have used it for carriage driving horses and it has an easily erected aluminium side awning with fold out sides, this has some extending supports to keep it all stable and level but does function without as seen in picture. Even if not required as stables this is excellent to give shelter over the horses when tied up to the lorry. Made for British weather both rain and as a sunshade.
Based in Suffolk near Stowmarket.
Priced to sell quickly, a real bargain for someone.
£3500
