Single Horse Drivers - National Championships. The Terry Bailey Memorial Trophy. (Unfortunately this prize got missed off the National Championships schedule.) For those of you that are attending in ANY of the Single Horse Classes this will apply to you. The winners to date are 2015 - Sonny Hillier 2016 - John Ripley The winner is calculated by the best placed in the dressage and marathon phases over the 4 single horse classes. Winner gets 1 point, 2nd gets 2 points. in 2016 John won both so scored 2 Example - MaryJane Campbell won dressage (1 point) was second in marathon (2) so scored 3. In the event of 2 people getting 2 points the best dressage score will determine winner. We do not use the penalty score as a determiner as different dressage judges mark differently and the potential of novices doing fewer obstacles or no F gates. ANY SINGLE HORSE COMPETITOR IN ANY SINGLE HORSE CLASS CAN WIN THIS WONDERFUL PRIZE. |
