i have the same problem and I've tried 3 rugs in all. Finally, i choose Harrison Howard. It is good and fit him well.Hope this helps!

Thanks Ladies .. think I am going for the ones from Dinky Rugs .. not a bad price which is a key factor when buying 4 sets for a pair ... only come in black but never mind I can always jazz them up with a bit of purple insulator tape !!

Try googling 'Dinkey Rugs' they do a whole range of stuff for small ponies and miniatures.

When needed I usually bandage my Shetland then tape them. I have to cut the bandage in half and use the part with the velcro on.
