Definitely both sharp and forward, but has just been to Military Odyssy and lead the whole group of civil war re-enacters into the battle/parade as rge mascot and didn't bat an eye at the gun fire/banners/flags etc!!
She isn't fully broken yet though - she long-lines single/pair, has pulled tyre and walked along with shafts either side, and also with poles stuck in the tugs to simulate shafts. Hacks out alone or in company. She is very quick and responsive though, and it's only my lack of time and willing assistant that has stopped me actually putting her in. Will text you when I have attached pony to tape measure....

Maisie has been born!! Beautiful little chestnut filly, born April 13th, will be reg'd (By Monkshill Cris). Millie Matty and Maisie are all needing a new home asap. Will accept 800 ono for all three of them as urgently needing to reduce numbers of ponies due to work and family commitments.

Priors Millie (rising 8ys, black) & Matilda, (rising 5, chestnut / flaxen).
Mother/daughter pair, very well matched (paces, looks etc) except for colour ;-) Both approx 36

Millie was started last winter, driven successfully at local indoor and club events/training days, also been a tandem wheeler, and regularly used in a pair with another of my shetlands. She long-lines beautifully as a pair with Matilda, and really knows her stuff! Very forgiving and sensible, (I let my novice mum drive her!) and she works in a nice outline but is very speedy when needed!
HOWEVER: Matilda was still in the process of being started - no assistant has now delayed the process of actually putting to, and dark evenings have stopped things. She is very light and responsive to long rein, and I have put in lots of ground-work with her, and I will continue to work with her as time allows. Option of sending her to be professionally finished at buyers cost.
Both are forward going, traffic proof, but have brakes. Used to pigs, and are both excellent to ride alone, or ride & lead. Travel / farrier / regularly wormed / teeth / vaccinated / passports. Done pony rides at village fete, both well handled from a young age.
***Millie is in foal to a stunning palomino stallion, should be a gorgeous foal - due late march 2010 onwards, hence she has not been driven recently. Pictures available, including of sire.
Sensible offers around 1250 considered for the three of them, home more important! Would consider splitting if necessary - they happily work/live apart. However, they will make a lovely pair, and ideally suit someone who wants a project, as Matilda will need bringing on first, and Millie is expecting! (Every pair needs a reserve though!)
Genuine reason for sale due to a change in circumstances, I would not be parting with them otherwise. Some (incomplete) pairs harness may also be available (good for long-lining as pair). East Kent. Delivery may be possible.
