Hi
I can't offer any advice about whether to replace or not, but I am just in the process of having shafts with swingle tree made (to measure) for my (Fenix) pairs carriage by Hillam in Yorkshire. All being done with photos and diagrams. Very reasonable price and reasonable delivery costs too. Worth talking to them perhaps if you decide to go down the replacement route.

I have a Polish (I think!) 3 phase vehicle which has been left outside in the rain for the last three years. The shafts have rusted on the inside where the water has run down. Is it worth trying to get them fixed or should I look for some new ones? If I do go for new ones is it a one size fits all type of thing? Just because I have no idea of the make/model of the carriage :/
