Can you support our Areas BHDTA and British Young Drivers recruitment drive? Does anyone have a 4-wheel competition vehicle suitable for an 11-12hand pony that our driving group can loan for training our enthusiastic new drivers? We do not have a 4-wheeler vehicle that would fit within our membership yet have a lot of welsh ponies of this size . Our juniors and novice drivers would benefit hugely from moving on from their 2-wheeleed exercise typed vehicle to a competition/ trials vehicle. This is the main thing holding them back from experiencing competitive driving and would definitely bring more of our drivers into the BYD activities, it would also serve as preparation for our drivers for competitive driving within the BHDTA. Ideally the carriage would benefit form a double or sliding seat so dual reins can be used as necessary. Any suggestions or offers most gratefully received.
