We are planning to hold the evening with Sarah Garnett, "What the dressage judge wants to see" at Ashfields as planned on Saturday, 19 January, 6:30 for 7pm. If the weather worsens we will take a decision at about 10am Saturday morning and post on the website forums and Facebook - if we have to, we will re-schedule the evening to March. Louise I will be at Ashfields on Saturday with my 2 daughters - both young drivers, one competes and the other is just starting out. Emily is an active member of British Young Drivers and would be very happy to talk to your daughter. BYD also have their own facebook page and a website is under construction. Louise, if your daughter is keen she'd really enjoy the Easter BYD Camp at Stow. We took our daughter for one day the first year, then we went for a few days the second year without a turnout and last year we took our horse ( with daughter ofcourse). She's hooked and learnt so much from the trainers there and the other young drivers -they love it. | |||

Hello, Louise, thank you for your interest and of course your daughter is very welcome. The ticket price for this evening is as low as we could make it per person and numbers are limited so this time she will need her own ticket. This is a talk by one of our top dressage judges and drivers with video illustrations about dressage performance and what the judges are looking for. Sarah Garnett is an entertaining speaker and you will learn a lot and can ask questions and find out the answers. Everyone is welcome - members, friends and supporters, newcomers, drivers, backsteppers, volunteers, officials, indoor and outdoor driving supporters.
