I would be interested to hear peoples experiences for/against membranes...We put a 'cheap' arena down and are having to do work to the base which has compacted and formed a barrier to stop water reaching the drains. When we redo this part should we put a membrane down before our sand and rubber mix surface? I have heard mixed reports of membranes rising and creating problems and those people saying they are necessary to prevent drains clogging.... |

We have belvoir rubber strip which we HIGHLY reccomend. But you do have to have a good base and membrane which is essential. The belvoir system is superb and we have had it three years with no maint reqd.It has never let us down. |
