This is Archie. We bought him 13months ago, (March, 2011)as a stallion. As you can see by the first picture, when we bought him he lacked a little condition! In September, 2011, we decided to have him gelded. Two months later we started breaking him to drive. After a few weeks of schooling him at home, we then took him too Ann Connolly at Ellesmere to be Put To etc. Archie came back home, and continued with his education. As you can now see from the second photo, Archie is competing in Horse Driving Trials, and loving it! This photo was taken at his first outdoor trials. (Erddig Practice Weekend-April 21st) We are so pleased with our lad, as he is not yet five years old. Thanks to all the help, advice and support from everyone from the Chester Driving Tials Group Janet and Laura Vickers. |
