Woodbridge Horse Show is great as it is, obviously, just horses! Monday 7 May at Trinity park, Ipswich - just off the A12/14 - also a good warm-up for the Suffolk Show. 20 May is the BDS Area 24 show, also at Trinity Park but just driving. Or if you aren't in East Anglia, see the BDS site, as Helen says. There are also a number of clubs which run driving classes all over the place. Bradbourne in Kent, The Oaks, Brockham, Sussex, Dyfed in Wales - to name a few. Where are you? Perhaps we can put you in touch with someone? (I'm presuming you've been out on rallies and driven in company...) There are a number of pre-season training sessions run by the BDS with some of the top show drivers - and others - going on - lots of things to do!

Local agricultural shows often have driving classes too. But your local BDS Area Commissioner is your best bet.

Ok Ive got my carriage and my new show harness but where are all the beginners classes. Its a bit much to throw yourself in the deep end at a county show I think, would like to try him in the ring at a show with far less going on than a county one for first time any ideas anyone. |
