Hi Sharon I live between Whitchurch and Wem, about 15 miles from Shrewsbury and would very much appreciate help in exercising my pony. I am not as experienced as Julie, Ann and Mansel, but I am happy to share the knowledge I have gained driving for pleasure since 2003 and competing in Pre novice classes at club level HDT since 2008. I am available during the day on Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays, as well as weekends. If interested please give me a ring 07773366010. Thanks Angela Chambers

Just an update on my quest. I have been driving with Julie Tomasik and am going again this week. Julie also put me in touch with Mansell and Ann at Lee near Ellesmere, Shrops, and I have been driving with both a few times. I am enjoying it immensely, learning lots and am grateful to all three for sharing their time and knowledge with me.

Hi. I am looking for an experienced driver as near as possible to Shrewsbury (SY5), who could offer some tuition/experience in driving in exchange for help with their horses. I have a lifetime experience with horses, including breaking, schooling, long-reining, etc. and can offer any of these services, or exercise riding, or just mucking out and cleaning tack. I have a flexible job, so can do weekdays as well as/instead of weekends. Maybe a couple of half-days a week? Suggestions, please? Many thanks |
