Now recovering from this well run event, many thanks to the MDTG and the stewards for smiling through the less than perfect weekend weatherwise! I'm a very newcomer to driving, and having been to watch and help over the last few years I was really looking forward to actually competing there. Typically, the sun is out here today, after the drizzle and wind of the last two days. Ah well. Just one point of view, as I said i'm not an experienced driver by any means, it'd be far more constructive to give advice and opinions on the dressage sheet, rather than negative comments and critisism. I was delighted with my test on saturday, and will always welcome advice from anyone who knows more than me, but on receiving my sheet one judge had been a fair bit rude and not at all encouraging! Dressage judges, please remember we are all human and try not to be too harsh. Having the benefit of a video replay I have assured myself that the test wasn't as bad as they had made out, and will focus more on the judge at 'c's suggestions! Now, where can I go next....... i'm addicted! |
