I've just looked up their website, and it says the annual subscription is £52 with a 10% discount for subscribing on-line via their website, which brings it down to £46.80.

If you then add your 10% BHDTA member discount, you should be paying £42.12 - i.e. £3.51 per issue.

Clearly something is not right. I guess they haven't updated their website and you probably can't add both discounts together.

If they are now charging £60, that's an increase of over 15% on last year's price. A phone call to their office would be in order before you decide how to subscribe.

I would imagine this is to cover the cost of delivery to your front door so at 50p an issue seems pretty reasonable to me for the convenience factor.

I've just had my subscription renewal for carriage driving magazine. The renewal price is £60. Looking on the front cover the retail price of the magazine is £4.50. Unless my maths is wrong I'm expected to pay an extra £6. I thought it was supposed to be cheaper on subscription not more expensive. I'm not sure that I shall be renewing this year.
