I went to Weston Park last weekend with the Carriage Foundation. They have a Dress Coach that is in need of renovation. They are now trying to find the funds to get it done!!!! We suggested that they organised a sponsored drive, a driving trials event, or an Attelage de Traditional. Is there a club, or an indervidual,in the area that would be interested in organising something to raise money, and the carriages profile to help get more money for the restoration. If you are interested, please contact the curator at the park, He is a nice chap who's head must have been buzzng with all the info he got from all the enthusiastic Carriage Foundation folk!! Good luck to who ever takes it on, and please every body go to this wonderfull park and have some fun, what ever ends up being organised! |
