That's great info, thanks Sue :-) Just spoke to John at Cheshire Carriages...extremely friendly and helpful. Wagonette not able to be dismantled tho. Still, excellent contact as he's the UK rep since Bellcrown went out of business a few years ago and he's able to undertake all repairs/alterations if needed :-)

A different Sue but I have a bellcrown wagonette which I love, prefer it to any other make I have had. We can get it and 12.3 pony in a 3 horse trailor without taking shafts off, pony up front and vehicle on back or vice versa both work and it goes across the lorry easily enough.

I believe www.cheshirecarriages.com used to stock Bellcrown spares, worth asking them anyway.

Sue.

Hi Sue, thanks for responding :-)
She's a 13.3hh connemara. Was considering doing the de-shaft and up-ending jobby but partitions didn't swivel and saw on a coupla forums that 2 wheel Bellcrowns dismantle for easy transportaion. Hoped the 4 wheelers might too!...anyway, problem solved...I now have access to 3 horse lorry :-)

Hi Pat, What size is the horse. I have a Bellcrown wagonette and a 14.3 pony, we take the shafts off and fit it all in a triple horse trailer. You may be able to stand the carriage up and secure it.

Hi, I'm new to driving but have found a super "been there-done it" little mare and a 4 wheeled Bellcrown Wagonette. Now I need to transport them home. I have access to 3.5 ton 2 horse box but can't fit both in.
Does anyone know if this carriage comes apart easily for transporting?
Many thanks, Pat
