Hello All

Mike Watts has suggested I post a note on this forum - and even registered me so I could do that! Thanks Mike!

I am involved in the British Carriage Dog Society and carriage dog trials (that's Dalmatians working behind carriages or ridden horses - obedience and endurance).

Many dog handlers are starting to do so as grooms on other drivers' turnouts and some of these people are non-equestrians grooming only to compete with their dogs.

The Society would like to provide some information and advice about the basics of grooming but apart from Mike's notes on HDT grooming, which is a bit specialised for us, I can't find anything written down about this.

Can anyone point me to any books or other reference works on the basics of grooming?

Thanks very much.
