Hello, I am Mike Arnold from the USA and I have a website DrivingNews USA (http://drivingnews.us) where I have a simple page of results and links. I realize that most experienced competitors have their own method (spreadsheet, tables, etc ... as did I) to calculate marathon times, but for me, it still requires sitting down and doing it, making sure I haven't done something to the spreadsheet etc, which I seem to always put off to the last minute. So I decided to try and write one that others could use. For now, its only available via the web, but I am working on Mac/Windows/Linux & iPhone/Android apps for those times one doesn't have internet access at a show. The USA version is http://drivingnews.us/marathontimes I have put together a UK version that omits the default lower level US speeds (If there are standard UK lower level speeds, I'd be happy to add them), see: http://drivingnews.us/marathontimes/uk In the calculator, you can put the allowed time on the left or right and use a couple of different methods for calculating the minimum times K-times. Please experiment to see which one you like (all can be selected at the same time). I would love to hear any comments, suggestions or corrections and especially the lower level speeds.
