Hi Emma, I would recommend a chap called Sid King who is based in Cambridgeshire. We sent our pony there for reschooling after a hiccup in her driving and he has done a fantastic job. If you text or call me I could give you his number. We are based near Spalding so not far from you. My number is 07769154407.

What an experience! Firstly, many ponies that small are broken lightly rather than 'properly', she may have been perfectly safe with a toddler onboard but not relaxed and happy with an adult, regardless of how light they are. I tried to bring on a pony many years ago that was delightful with children, i just thought a bit more schooling would take her places but she was having none of it. I would class her as downright dangerous to ride, but she never put a foot wrong with the kids on top! Very levelling....!
But it sounds like your pony and yourselves don't feel happy looking forwards so finding a new home is the next step. Depending where you are in the country there are people who will do the next stage of putting her to, it may be worth paying for her to be finished as she will become a more sellable pony then. Few people will take on a pony that hasn't been tried unless it is cheap. Harsh but true. An advert on here might find someone interested, or dragon driving seems to have a good turnover.
Honesty is the best policy when selling. It gives the pony the best possible chance of coming good. But don't over egg the past problems as horses have a way of changing to their current situations. We have a pointer that was classed as basically a psycho who has been a saint with us. Lovely creatures... good luck!

im new to this so please bear with me.
we brought november last year a sweet 10h mare for my son to learn to ride on, the day before we went to try her he broke his leg but having driven miles & booked a hotel overnight we viewed anyway she was a total saint with my children there (eldest is 4) so we brought her without seeing her ridden but saw her worked on the lunge under saddle.
once home though it soon became clear she hasnt ever been backed & has scared my son silly watching mummy hit the deck from her.
i took her back to basics & have discovered in harness she is a dream so we think she has been driven in the past, i however have no idea how to progress from longlining her in full harness to the tyre bit & im not willing to risk getting it wrong for her sake.
so how do i advertise her as a driving pony project & where. she is wasted here & we love her dearly but she needs a home where she can fufill her potential.

sorry for the Essay im just not sure how to advertise her.
