Keep an eye on the DEFRA website at www.defra.gov.uk and in particular on the foot & mouth pages at www.defra.gov.uk/footandmouth/

We will, of course, publish any information on the BHDTA website front page as soon as it's available.

The TV news this morning said that an outbreak of foot and mouth disease has just been confirmed in England somewhere (Hew thought it might be in Essex but he just caught the end of the report). Will future events be cancelled? Specifically, my next event is at Castle Kennedy near Stranraer next weekend. Will this go forward?
