15hh welsh D chestnut mare for sale 13 yrs old. Mainly driven but can be ridden although green under saddle so needs confident rider. Would ideally suit competent novice driver who wants to do club HDT, indoors and outdoors, pleasure driving, showing. She has won and been placed many times in HDT, both club and Nationals and in show ring at BDS shows in ex vehicle, pleasure driving, mountain and moorland. Been shown in hand too. She has taken me to 3 BC nationals at novice and 2 indoor champs, intermediate and open and BDS Addington. She has also won the overall driving trophy twice with WPCS. She is passported with WPCS. She is good natured, affectionate mare with the occasional mareish streak but not nasty. She currently lives in with daily turnout which suits her so I don't think she would enjoy living out all the time.. She is very good on roads, good to clip, bath, shoe. She is not best at loading but will go in eventually with patience, not scared just stubborn! She is microchipped, wormed, jabs due end of year. Teeth, back checked regularly. Due to cracks in front hooves however she currently has remedial shoeing which does not affect exercise, competing, etc and should come right in time. Looking for 5* home at least.
