I'm not a 'landlady' normally, just think it's a nice way to meet like minded people. I will charge £20 pp per night or £15 pp per night if 3 or more nights. I am so close it makes it easy and I will be going to Championships each day.

Hi Carole,
Great that several of you are coming to see the Championships. I live only 6 miles away and depending on numbers could help you with cheaper accommodation etc. If interested, an early call would be good as away for this weekend.

If you're going by rail, you'll probably get in to Euston if you're coming from Cheshire. The best bet, in my opinion, is to then catch the Victoria Tube line down to Vauxhall (about 20 minutes) then a train from Vauxhall direct to Windsor and Eton Riverside. The other - Windsor and Eton Central - is close by too, but you have to get on at Paddington and change at Slough to get there.

I used rhe train once or twice and found it necessary to get a taxi from the station to the horsebox area - it's not really walking distance with luggage and I don't think there is a bus service, but it's only a couple of miles so shouldn't cost too much.

Hoping to go for the weekend with a friend. What is the best way of doing it? Travel down by road and stay in B&B ( and if so where?) By rail- again to where? Borrow or hire a caravan and stay on site? Just want to pick the brains of any one ( and there must be hundreds of you!) who's already done it. Are there any organised trips? Most grateful for any advice. (We'll be travelling from Cheshire )
