Hi Shirley Robinson's cart's are fine if you stick to driving on a good surface ( roads & level tracks ) they are not built to take tough off road terrain Also read the small print re max weight of combination of driver & groom that is safe load . Having said that if you just want to get started as cheaply as possible & not sure your pony or you are going to enjoy it ( I am sure you will soon get hooked ! ) it is a good starter vehicle as you can now find them secondhand for around a hundred pound Just check that the wheels are in good conditition not buckled or any loose spokes Contact me if you would like further advise I would be happy to here from you ! Am looking for a exercise cart for my shetland and was wondering if any-one has a experience with the shetland cart in the Robinsons catolouge.we are both new to this and funds are short thought this make a good first cart.We are in stables on a farm so can be a bit rough under foot the odd bit of set aside. Or could some-one give me advice as to where and what would be a good car for us to start with thanks for any information |
