The 3rd International Trophy for Young Drivers Stadl Paura, Austria 23-27 July 2008 British Young Drivers are in the early planning stages for sending a team of up to 8 young drivers to the 3rd International Trophy for Young drivers in 2008. It is aimed at children 7 to 18 years of age. It is an arena based competition in 3 parts. Day 1 – dressage, day 2 – a course of 15 pairs of cones and 4 obstacles in a similar format to the world cup competition, and day 3 – a course of 15 cones. A team can be up to 8 children driving ponies of a specific maximum size depending on the age of the child. There are 6 classes dependent on age. The 3 best scores in different classes will count towards the team points. Please follow this link to see an English translation of the rules. We would like to hear from any young driver who may be interested in taking part by Tuesday 26 June so that an initial list can be compiled. www.pferdezentrum-stadlpaura.at is the website for the venue, and there are driving pictures in the Tourism section, sub menu Herbstparade. Please email campbells@ramsland.plus.com if you want to register your interest and also include your date of birth. (This post updated for James Campbell) |
