Hello, Esme, like Ruth, I suggest you contact your local BDS Area Commissioner or the secretary of your driving trials club - on www.britishcarriagedriving.co.uk, www.britishdrivingsociety.co.uk or the organiser of your local indoor events (they may still have an event remaining before the Finals at Easter - useful to go and meet people!), www.indoordriving.co.uk Find a UKCC coach near you: they are listed on the BC site. Have a lesson and ask lots of questions! It will spare you spending money unnecessarily, I feel sure. May I suggest also you don't spend any more money until you have sought some expert opinion(s)... (I have been there and done that!) Please tell us how you get on? |

Esme, I suggest you visit your local driving club / BDS group and have a look round and speak to people about carriage to suit you / your ponies needs. there are different types available to suit different jobs / pockets. let us know what area you live in and we'll let you know your local club who'd be happy to help I'm sure. |
