Dear Members and competitors the committee has been decimated due to retirement and internal disputes which have not been disclosed at the AGM. Perhaps we need to call an EGM prior to the New Year to build up the council membership to around 12 in number. Hopefully some ladies would consider a position to broaden the views of BC as the ladies are certainly sweeping the boards with their carriage driving skills. It seems that the remaining committee needs new blood and new ideas and perhaps a more common sense approach would not go amiss when looking at next years depleted preliminary calendar. Are the members being told the full story of what is going on inside BC as the whispers and rumours circulate unanswered or are we to believe that they feel they don't need to inform the members of the full story. I was always under the impression that they were acting in the best interests of the members. Please allow the paying members to decide once they are given the full facts. Questions at the AGM were not answered only the buck passed back to event organisers. The atmosphere is electric at the moment no wonder there was a lack of candidates first time around. | ||

With conference and the AGM next week. I take it there are NO candidates standing for the council vacancies? We've not had any voting papers has anyone seen any?. Even if there are three they should be voted in. |
