Paul and Frances Atkinson of Cullinghurst Stud used to have a beautiful grey Arab and did very well in private driving classes - Elustarius. Sadly they lost him in 2012. Ill be there too, and im putting my baby horse back between the shafts for the first time in a long time- it'd be lovely to see a new face! There's a few of us with different carriages/turnouts/harnesses etc going, so you can get an idea of what's what for your kit too I'm on FB too with Patti... Feel free to add me too- though Patti knows significantly more than I do!

Hi Clare, check out the NEDTL driving club. We have a really enthusiastic bunch of drivers from the Durham area who are organising some local training with UKcc coach Rosie Mould. You can find details on our website at www.nedtl.co.uk or find us on facebook by searching for North Eastern Driving Trials Ltd.

Hi Everyone, I have an Arab stallion that I ride & show in ridden classes, but have recently sent him away to be broken to drive and he loves it! Originally ithe intention was just another way to keep him busy and fit but he loves it! Does any one else have an Arab they are driving or know of anyone? Im based in Durham and i am keen to have ago at some completions but unsure as to what he will be eligible for. An advice would be appreciated. Thanks Claire |
