Lowther cones will be judged as any standard BC national event over a course with two marathon style obstacles and twelve pairs of cones. The Technical Delegate will set an achievable time allowed. For those wishing to cut the mustard, the scorer will calculate the time taken as per the event schedule. This separate competition will be called the Lowther Derby for which prize money will be awarded. We are arranging for the schedule of class times to enable competitors to leave the site earlier than previous years. For Selection Classes – Advanced Single Horse and Advanced Single Pony – an International Standard Cones Course will be set up on Thursday in the Castle Arena and will be available for walking throughout the event. This course will be driven at 0900 Sunday and subsequent Lowther Derby rounds will be scheduled to enable the Advanced competitors to enter the Derby if they wish to do so.
