Really enjoying Rachel's blog from the Para drivers championship, but this bit has me puzzled: "The main act of the ceremony, apart from excellent speeches by the Mayor of Breda and by the President of the Jury, Ge Konig, was Eddie the Eagle. He was supposed to take off from the mound in the jumping arena, fly over the heads of the PE drivers and land on one of the chief steward’s arms. But Eddie had other plans and disappeared into the surrounding pine trees. He did come back in his own good time, after a couple of fly bys and some impressive soaring." Am I right in thinking this is the well known British ski jumper?!! |
