Such a shame Catton has been cancelled as its such a great event! BUT.... Why not come along to Goodwood Regional HDT the following weekend instead? Its a lovely event set in the stunning Goodwood Estate! Club Classes also run alongside regional event as well! Also don't forget the famous Goodwood Party on the Sat Night! It is with great regret that the decision has been taken to cancel the event next weekend at Catton Park due to waterlogged ground conditions. Robin Neilson is devastated about having to take this decision and is very aware of how disappointed everyone will be, but following heavy thunder storms, the marathon route is impassable and the dressage field is also under water. Some of the surrounding roads are flooded, and in any case Robin felt that it would be virtually impossible to get the lorries on to the stabling field. With the weather forecast showing no huge improvement, he sadly had no alternative. All entry and start fee cheques will be destroyed. |
