Hi Joe. I work in the automotive industry and I can tell you that it is extremly difficult to chrome for external applications. There is a good chance the chrome will come off in quite a short amount of time, especially if they get wet. There are a couple of companies in the Midlands but I am not sure if the chrome baths are big enough to put shafts into but I can ask for you. Lesley Goodden( Nee Lesley Cox - Pony Tandems)
