A couple of people in our club have used Belvoir surfaces in the last 2 years and said they were very good value and their service quick and efficient - and the surface is excellent for driving on as well as for other horse activities. Neil Bennion is your man. |

We laid a 60m x 40m arena for driving four years ago. We used wood grain (not chip!) and it is super for driving on. We topped it up a few weeks ago as the surface was starting to look a bit tired but it is used almost daily by several turnouts as well as jumping and other ridden work. It is very cheap (the top up cost around £1600) and you don't use a membrane so another cost saved. Have a look at this website for info - http://www.awjarenasurfaces.co.uk/index.html I appreciate this is a Scottish company but I'm sure there will be others closer to you who provide a similar product. We also have in our indoor, the Belvoir flat rubber http://belvoirequestriansurfaces.co.uk/content/view/15/29/ which is specifically for driving. This is another excellent product and not expensive compared to others. |

Please could anyone give advice! We are in the process of putting in an arena on a fairly limited budget. We had planned to put a mixture of silica sand and then rubber on top but I am just a bit concerned it will be too deep for my ponies to drive on. Any ideas would be much appreciated |
