I agree Jane, our Aussie girls have had a ball in the UK and the fun has continued getting to Rome. I understand that the Aussies and the Brits ended up stabling together after having some map troubles!  Lorraine describes it so well on her blog. I know that they have very much enjoyed the support of the other drivers, grooms and supporters. My only concern is that they may be having just a little too much fun with the other nations, but it is a trip of a lifetime. I so wish I could be there, a few of our drivers have flown over to cheer them on. I hope the Brits do well too. | ||

Janice, isn't it nice that the sport of carriage driving can bring together two countries that are so far apart? I'm sure the rivalry in Italy will be friendly! It's been good to swap photos - and I know you check in on the NEDTL facebook page! If your countrymen are likely to be staying for Windsor, Cavewood Productions will be filming there again this year, so who knows? They may appear in yet another musical montage! Jane Wilson | ||

I would like to thank the wonderful UK drivers, supporters, etc. who have been helping me find updates, photos, etc. of 2 Aussie drivers, Michelle Jones & Elizabeth Lawrence along with groom Lorraine Cairns. Elizabeth competed at Sandringham and Michelle was at Catton with Lorraine busy jumping on and off carriages They have had their share of ups and downs that's for sure.
