The Eriskay is a rare breed and more info can be found on the Eriskay Pony Society website. Owned since 18 months old. She was professionally broken to drive in March 2009. She has been on BDS organised drives and pleasure drives through estates and parkland. Mingulay goes through water and is a very strong, stocky mare. Excellent in company and lives out all year. Mingulay is currently very fit and is doing 8 - 12 miles a week. Has been ridden briefly but has been primarily been used for driving. The reason we are selling her is because she is not confident in heavy, noisy traffic and feel she would benefit from being worked in or as a pair to build her confidence as we are struggling to increase her confidence on the road.
