Heidi is a long haired German Shepherd (not KC registered but from a background of KC registered family) she was born on the 07/07/09.

She needs lots of love and attention and loves to follow you around. Loves playing ball and is very friendly to people, other dogs and children. She plays very well with our 5 yr old. She does like to bark (but what dog doesn’t! LOL)

She is up to date with jabs next due around Sept/Oct time. She is not spayed due to the vet advising us to wait for her first season which she hasn’t had yet.

She is crate trained and sleeps in her crate at night and during the day while we are at work. She likes toys but not teddies or squeaky toys. We prevented her from playing with these as we were advised by the breeder that it resembles a child/baby.

She does like chewing shoes but only my heels or sandals lol. She is growing out of this though.

Reason for having to re-home Heidi,

· She needs very long walks more than once a day.
· We simply don’t have the time for her needs and feel that it is unfair to her to have to put her through not getting the full attention she requires.
· She is chasing her tail due to boredom.
· It’s not fair on her to be in her crate 10 hrs in the day, then at night time

None of the reasons are due to her! She is a beautiful and loving dog, she just needs someone who will give her love and attention when she wants it. We have been unable to train her apart from ‘sit’ as we simply don’t have the time.

She walks brilliantly off the lead, however does like to pull when on the lead (think she gets excited about going for a walk)

Dogs she has met on walks that she loves playing with

· German Shepherd
· Pattendales
· Westies
· English Bull Terriers
· Jack Russell

Dogs she does not like are Rotties. Due to her being chased by one in Dec last year. I think it liked her bushy tail. No aggression just scared.

I have a picture but unsure how to attach it.
