Fiona. We use the jigsaw mats. They are great but need storing flat at home otherwise they warp and 6 no longer interlock together. But they are lightweight and don't move in the stabling and I would recommend them. |

I can get 20mm EVA pads 6ft x 4ft. I believe they were around £30 each plus delivery. If a few people want them I could get some and take them to any EACG event and probably get round the delivery charge |

Has anyone experience of using the Rolson "jigsaw" type eva mats, six mats interlock to form a 6' x 4' area? I was wondering if they might be worth getting, the idea being to fit three or four sets together... They look easier to transport for me. |

We carry some small heavier type mats, (doormat sized) as well and put them amongst the large lightweight mats and this stops everything slipping, especially if the ground is not completely flat |

I've had the same problem. Pinning the mats down does work if the ground is not to stony. You can get interlocking EVA mats but there not that cheap. I've seen a couple of other people use them at events and they seem to work quite well. |

Just a thought Vicky- but could you "pin" them down with something like the metal pegs that come with gazebos? You'd probably have to punch holes in them first, and you'd probably need quite a few, but it might work. Good luck! |

Right ... so I need some new mats for penning my clever ponio at trials! ... I had some lightish weight rubber mats for our first season last year and first of all they are still too heavy for me to move about and secondly, because they can be rolled up, my Fell considers them to be a nuisance and rolls them up and pushes them out of the pen so that she can get full access to the grass! This got me into hot water at at least one trial because as quickly as I put them back ... she removed them again ... any ideas? The EVA ones seem to be lighter and non roll but I don't know what I actually need to order - any ideas |
