Introduction to Driving Trials - 3rd May Bank Holiday Sunday. Being held at Fishers Pond, nr Eastleigh /Southampton, Hampshire open to South Downs Harness Club members - £10 and non-members are very welcome - £15 A friendly (on foot) workshop going through all the stages of Driving Trials, from how to prepare and drive an accurate dressage test, to walking the cones and conquering the obstacles. Course Designer Stephen Lucas will be showing us how the course is designed, prepared and marked up so it is appropriate for the level of competition and the ground. As part of the workshop Steve will be preparing the course for the World Cup event we are holding the next day. We are sure it will be a much easier than the courses that Steve is involved with this year for Windsor, Redenham, Sandringham, Goodwood and Cirencester...
