We always stayed and travelled home on the Monday after Hopetoun. Much nicer for horses, humans and dogs than arriving home in the early hours of the morning! (it helps that it was always the bank holiday so no having to rush back for work)

Greenlands is about 2hrs from Hopetoun. If it helps on the way back Hopetoun are generally very good about people staying on Sunday night so they start the journey south fresh. Speak to Jane Isaac.

You could try www.greenlandsequestriancentre.co.uk just south of Carlisle. Easy off the M6

Hi Marissa. If any of the northern drivers can't help google lairage in the north and look for large equestrian centres. I know there is one in Grantham that does overnights (I think it is Arena UK). There is Gracelands Equestrian at Droitwich. I have stayed there...........she's lovely!

We are planning on travelling to Hopetoun from Surrey on either Tuesday 26th/Wed 27th May and back on Sunday 31st May with 2 large horses, lorry and trailer. Does anyone know of Stables where we could break the journey overnight that could cope with lorry/trailer?
Please e mail marisapinnockxxx@gmail.com (without XXX) Many thanks
